The fastest path is a concise RFQ pack: product family, machine or tooling type, drawing revision, annual volume, target delivery date, preferred substitute rules, and the inspection documents your buyer or customer expects. Star Micronics reviews the pack before supplier routing so missing interface details, voltage requirements, machine-envelope limits, or documentation gaps do not become a late surprise. For repeat orders, we also ask whether the line should be saved as an approved reorder file, whether alternates are allowed without engineering approval, and whether each shipment needs certificates, calibration evidence, first-article records, or only commercial paperwork. This keeps the conversation short and practical. Purchasing sees cost and timing, quality sees the evidence path, and production sees whether the item will fit the planned cell. If the request is still early, send the rough list anyway.
